CD TRADER

For the past few months I have been scowering all the records stores in San Antonio. Everything from the more well known Youth Alternatives, Imagine, Aardwolf and Hogwild to of course stumbling upon the flea markets, Goodwills and garage sales. Then comes CD TRADER. Hidden away in a small shopping center on the North East side of town, CDT is about 2000 sq ft of rock, metal and punk history. Extremely rare LPs line the walls along with all kinds of metal and punk memorabilia you never thought you would see with your own eyes. CDs and vinyl fill the majority of the store from virtually any well known or not so well known rock out fit. If its rock related and you want it, he probably has it or can get it for you. Both used and new pressing from defunct and currently touring local bands, foreign release, fan club release, boot leg, you name it, owner Rick Ireland has it and most likely has a story for you about it. This is definitely a must see for musical treasure hunters and is not necessarily a diggers dream but more a collectors paradise.
